Welcome to the Wantirna South Out of School Hours Care Program (OSHC). Our service provides quality care for families needing care either before or after school, pupil free days, and during school holidays.

The program is managed by the Out of School Hours Care Program Coordinator, School Principal and OSHC committee, which is a sub committee of the Wantirna South School Council.

THE PROGRAM AND VENUE:

The program is held at the school house called 'The Hive'. Our aim is to provide children with an environment that is not only warm, relaxed and caring but one that will also provide children opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of interesting, fun and challenging indoor and outdoor activities.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Before Care: 7am to 8.45am

After Care: 3.30pm to 6pm

Vacation Care: 7am to 6pm

Curriculum Day Care: 7am to 6pm

Prep Care available when appliciable, please contact Hive staff for further details.

PROGRAM FEES:

Before Care

1 child: $8.00 per session

Breakfast: extra $1.50 per session.

After Care

1 child: $10.50 per session

2 children: $9.50 per session

3 children: $8.50 per session

Curriculum Day:

$33 per child

Vacation Care:

Inhouse normal day: $35 per child

Excursion day: $48 per child

Incursion days: vary between $37 to $45 per child depending on the activity.

CHILD CARE BENEFIT:

Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment made to families to assist with the cost of childcare. All Australian residents using approved childcare services are eligible for CCB.

CCB can be received as reduced fees through the approved childcare service or as a lump sum payment direct to families at the end of the financial year.

It is the parent/quardians responsibility to ring the Family Assistance Office to apply for CCB, you will be asked to supply the CRN numbers for your servcie.

The Family Assistance Office can be contacted from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday on 13 61 50.
