Principal's Message

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you and your family to Wantirna South Primary School. We pride ourselves on being a “community school” and we work hard to maintain the strong relationships between home and school that are so vital in ensuring success for our students.

With a current teaching staff of 16 and an enrolment of 260 children we are able to offer a strong and varied curriculum program, yet also maintain the country school atmosphere that has been evident since the school was established in 1940. Our current class structure is based on 11 grades with specialist areas conducted in Art, Music, Phys Ed, and Indonesian.

If you haven’t been to visit us, I would strongly encourage you to do so, as I feel sure that a walk with me around the school is the best way to demonstrate what we have to offer.
